Oluwole Abegunde is the Group Managing Director of Meristem Securities Limited, he is responsible for providing overall leadership and strategy for the entire organization.

Wole has varied experience in manufacturing, banking and the capital market. He has held positions in Brand Management, Credit Appraisal, Fund Management, Stock Broking and Capital Issues. He was General Manager of Investment Centre Limited, a subsidiary of Broad Bank Limited and worked with NAL Bank Plc from where he joined Meristem Securities Limited.

He is the current Group Managing Director of Meristem Securities Limited and brings to the Board his widespread knowledge and experience in the capital and money markets. Wole holds an MBA from the University of Ilorin and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS). He is also an Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Wole is an ardent believer in disruptive innovation and through his many inspirations, he has led Meristem to trail blaze a lot of consumer-friendly products in the capital and money markets.

Sulaiman Adedokun is the Deputy Managing Director of Meristem Securities Limited, He is also the Managing Director of Meristem Wealth Management.

Sulaiman started his career with Security Swaps Limited and later Nigerian Stockbrokers Limited (a subsidiary of NAL Bank Plc.) from where he joined Meristem Securities Limited. He pioneered the establishment of Meristem Wealth Management Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Meristem Securities Ltd and currently manages the Wealth Management Firm.

Sulaiman is a CFA chartered holder, a member of the CFA Institute and society of Nigeria as well as a seasoned accountant with a wealth of experience spanning across the various sectors of the capital market. He holds degrees both in Accounting and Banking and Finance. He is an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and Chartered Institute of Stock Brokers (CIS). He is also an authorized dealing clerk on the floor of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Sulaiman has attended several trainings in Nigeria and Overseas including Practical Portfolio Management for Equities and Bonds, Beaufort Institute of Business Training (PTY) Ltd. in South Africa, Certificate in Financial Asset Management and Engineering (CFAME) in Lausanne, Switzerland, Risk Management for Corporate Leaders and more. Oluwole Abegunde has varied experience in manufacturing, banking and the capital market. He has held positions in Brand Management, Credit Appraisal, Fund Management, Stock Broking and Capital Issues. A wise and efficient leader, Sulaiman Adedokun is the Deputy Managing Director of Meristem and the pioneer Managing Director of Meristem Wealth Management..

In his time so far at Meristem, he has led the organization to heights of greatness. His leadership has grown the asset under management (AUM) of Meristem from NGN0 to NGN260b in under 10 years. He has also, brought various capital market recognitions to Meristem like best performing equity and money market fund, first GIPS complaint Nigerian investment firm etc. He has also grown the mutual fund to nearly a NGN1b in subscriptions in a little over 2years.

Sulaiman is a CFA charter holder, a member of the CFA Institute and society of Nigeria. He is a seasoned accountant with a wealth of experience spanning across the various sectors of the capital market.

He holds degrees in Accounting, Banking and Finance. Big Hearted, a true culture driver and a strong team player make up Mubo Olasoko. She is the Managing Director of the Registrar and Probate Division of Meristem. In her 16years at Meristem, Mubo has chaired a lot of breakthroughs, like introduction of the Probate division that carters to a highly undeserved market in Nigeria, development of the Meristem Culture and grooming of the culture champions.

Mubo Olasoko has an outstanding personality, she is the oil that gets the engines in Meristem moving. She is a graduate of the Arts, who brings creativity to numbers, money management and wealth creation.

She is an associate member Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), an authorized Dealing-Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and a Fellow of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars. In addition, Mubo has had Executive Management trainings at the prestigious Harvard Business School, The Wharton Business School, London Business School and Colombia University.

Outside of the work place, Cooking, Travelling and making new friends are elements which combine to make up Mubo.

An ardent spotter of market opportunities, Saheed Bashir is the CEO of Meristem Stockbrokers and also head of the Group Business Development Division. His 14years at Meristem, has been one of results. .

In this time, Meristem has been positioned as a lead broker in the Nigerian Equity Market and Capital Market. His contributions have earned Meristem, technological innovations, top market and regulatory recognitions for high performance.

Spot-on Saheed always ensures that Meristem clients are privy to market opportunities and are rightly positioned to seize them. In addition to his commitment of growing wealth for clients, he is always in search of knowledge.

A go-getter, focused and driven leader; Taiwo Yusuf, heads the Treasury division of Meristem He has been a part of the Meristem team for 8years, and in the eight years he has risen from ranks to attain his position as a leader.

In the 8years of Taiwo’s contribution to the growth of Meristem, the organization, has received numerous recognitions like, best performing equity fund, first Global Investment Performance Standard Complaint (GIPS) firm in Nigeria, and various nominations for best performing money-market fund to mention a few.

Taiwo is a graduate of Economics. He is an MBA holder, a CFA level 3 charter and a certification from the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

Besides growing wealth for clients, Taiwo is a passionate lover of sports. He enjoys field trips and has a growing love for hunting!

Full of ideas, innovations and talents, Damilola Hassan heads the  Trustees Division of Meristem. In her 13years at Meristem, she has contributed a lot of growth to the organization, harnessing her comprehensive experience in Investment Advisory, Asset Management, Marketing & Corporate Communications and Client Relationship Management. Her contributions have positioned Meristem as the choice investment partner in the Nigerian Capital Market.

She is a graduate of Microbiology, holds an MSc and an MBA in Finance and Business Management, she is a Chartered member of Nigeria Institute of Management, she is an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI) United Kingdom, and an Associate member of The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria. She is a facilitator at The Entrepreneurship Academy, Lagos Nigeria and serves as Trustee to The Chinwe Bode Akinwande Foundation.
